PRESS GLASS is seeing the benefits from their investment in the world’s first Glaston ProL convection upgrade
Glaston and Press Glass share a longstanding partnership and when it became clear that an upgrade to our lamination line was needed to meet the increasing complexities of the market standards, we knew a Glaston upgrade was the right course for us.
With the upgrade comes better control when fabricating the multilayer laminates that are more common in the US market. Less air is being trapped inside the layers which results in less lack of adhesion. Since the implementation of this upgrade, we have seen significant increases in our efficiency and square footage production per day.
